More Than Just a Painting

Before I even pick up my brush, I embark on a journey of research. This isn’t just about gathering dry facts; it’s a deep dive into the soul of each woman. I watch every interview, read every word written about her, and listen closely to what she chooses to share. I seek that connection, the inner spark that resonates with my own values. When I find it, when I feel that vibration within me, that’s when the magic begins.

What Drives Me

The feeling I get when I’m filled with pride for these women, and for myself, is indescribable. It’s a pride in their ability to achieve remarkable feats despite life’s challenges. It’s a testament to the existence of women who can conquer any summit. From these women, I draw extraordinary motivation. They inspire me endlessly and fill me with powerful energy to continue my work.

What is this work? It’s simple yet profound: to continue conveying the clear and strong message that women achieve great things. They are not just background characters or supporting roles; they are true heroines, writing history and leading change. Each portrait I create is another brick in this wall, another voice added to the chorus of powerful women.

Sometimes, I look at the entire series, and I am awestruck by its cumulative power. Each woman shines brightly on her own, and together, they become a beacon illuminating the paths of other women. This is my greatest privilege, and it is my purpose—to give them faces, to give them voices, and to remind us all: we are here, we are strong, and we are achieving.
